But Those Things Came

I thank God for every little thing that happens in my life recently. These things are impossible things to get in my situation..

1. Meranti

Pak Jojo came with “a better Meranti” (d’Triple swiss roll chocolate rum) and Kue Salju at July 16th, 2024 to Siberut, Mentawai.

I said before to Fira: “what’s your favourite christmas cookie? For me it is Kue salju and Sarang Semut.” And I imagined eating those things while it is impossible to get in this jungle. Even fish for meal is rare. 

I also imagined eating Meranti and I remember I know it’s impossible to get a swiss roll.

But miraculously those things came…

2. Pink Abundance T-Shirt

Pak Jojo also came with the exact T-Shirt that I desired when I was in training in Jakarta. I saw kak Novia wore that at a worship event and for a brief, I thought to myself, should I buy that tee? It looks good…

3. Red Waterproof Bag

I remember once when I was hiking, my friend wore a little 10L red REI bag. I didn’t think to buy it at that time but I remember I looked at it longer than 5 seconds.. maybe I did desire that bag. And Jesus gave it to me for free when I was in training in Jakarta, a 30L one!

I appreciate everything Jesus gave to me. Thank you Jesus!
